Marilyn J. Bruss, age 82, formerly of Green Bay passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba where she had been residing.
Marilyn was born April 9, 1927 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to the late Malcolm and Katherine (Newcombe) Warren. On May 13, 1950 she married Edwin J. Bruss at the St. John Lutheran Church in DePere. She resided in DePere for over 25 years and was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church. She eventually moved to Green Bay and became a member of Christ of the Bay Lutheran Church. In 2002 Marilyn moved to Gladstone, Michigan to be nearer to her daughter, Nora.
Marilyn is survived by:
4 Sons: Gregory (Cynthia) Bruss of New Hampshire; Michael (Debbie) Bruss of New Hampshire; E. John (Amy) Bruss of New Hampshire; Jim (Gina) Bruss of New Hampshire
2 Daughters: Nora Bruss of Escanaba, MI; Jenny (Rick) Ullman of Georgia

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, a son, David; her parents and two sisters, Betty Gill and Jean Jackson.
Friends may call at theSkradski Funeral Home in Escanaba on Tuesday, March 16 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Kelto officiating. Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Greenwood Cemetery in DePere. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
