Jerome L. Goc, age 65, passed away in Ironwood, Michigan on January 30, 2019 after long suffering from early onset Parkinson’s disease.
Jerome was born to the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Wegrzyn) Goc on May 2, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois.
Jerome, known to many as Jerry or “Ace”, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was also a loyal Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by his loving former wife, Cheryl Goc of Gladstone; his cherished son, Jalen Goc U.S.M.C. of Camp LeJune, NC; Step-children, Erick (Kaitlyn) Lindahl of Louisiana, and Katie (David) D’Ambrosio of Escanaba; his loving sister, Sharon (Jim) Harms and dear brother, Lance Goc of Naperville, IL; his niece, Robyn (Michael) Albertini of Naperville, IL.; his nephew, Ryan (Nicole) Harms of Littleton, CO.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on June 18, 2019 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski officiating. Private committal services will be held.

    Jerome was my “Crush” in grade school, in Chicago Ridge. Although he never knew it, I admired him from afar. Sad that he was stricken too early. Prayers for his family.
