Kathleen “Polly” Freeborn, age 67, passed away Thursday morning, February 8, 2018, at her home in Brampton.
Polly was born September 21, 1950, in Escanaba, the daughter of Wallace and Kathryn (Boyle) Chroge. She was raised in Gladstone and graduated from Gladstone High School. On November 6, 1982, Polly was united in marriage to Keith Freeborn and together the couple made their home in Brampton. Polly worked primarily as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles and going on the occasional shopping trip.
In addition to her husband of 35 years, Keith, Polly is survived by:

Brother: Vernon (Vivian) Chroge of Brampton, MI
Sisters: Barbara Gravelle of Loves Park, IL
Beatrice “Cookie” (Thomas) Russell of Perkins, MI
Sandra Clark of Machesney, IL
Susan Davis of Escanaba, MI
Granddaughter: Casandra (Nick) Badham
Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Kathryn:

Sisters: Mildred “Pinky” Hunt and Patricia Griffey
Brothers in law: Delbert Gravelle, LJ Clark, and Michael Davis
Graveside services for Polly will be held in the spring. Further information will be forthcoming. The Skradski Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
