Homer Joseph Drossard Sr., age 82, formerly of Gladstone and Perkins passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Southview Acres Healthcare Center in West St. Paul, Minnesota.
Homer was born February 19, 1934 in Perkins, the son of Homer and Helen (Frossard) Drossart. Homer served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1956. On April 21, 1961 he was united in marriage to Shirley Johnson. He worked as a mechanic for numerous Chevrolet dealers for many years and following his retirement he worked as a driver for the Union Pacific Railroad in Minnesota. Homer also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Homer is survived by three daughters, Heather (Tony) Vo-Drossard of Cottage Grove, MN, Kathleen (Haywood) Webb of St. Paul, MN and Pamela (Alfred) Lanaville of Green Bay, WI; one son, Homer “Shane” Drossard, Jr. of St. Paul, MN; daughter-in-law, Elaine Willis of Oconto, WI; one brother, Gene (Georgia0 Drossart of Chilton, WI; one sister, Rose Anne Polequin of Escanaba and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Drossard, his son, Leroy Willis, his parents and brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 Am at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military Honors will be presented by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71 at 11:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Brian Gerber officiating. Homer will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
