Patrick Allison “Pat” Kerr, 85, of Gladstone, passed away Tuesday evening August 9, 2016 at the Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI following a brief illness.
Pat was born October 25, 1930 in Rogers City, MI the son of John and Hazel (Robbins) Kerr. He was raised in Millersburg, MI and he graduated from Rogers City High School in 1946. Following graduation, Pat served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He later went into the Electrical Apprenticeship Program and became an electrician. He worked for I.B.E.W. Local 692 in Bay City and Local 1232 in Alpena.

Pat was united in marriage to the former Maris Miller on February 23, 1968 in Lake County, IN. They made their homes in Highland, IN, Morris, IL, Alpena, MI before retiring to Gladstone in 1993.

Pat was an avid N.A.S.C.A.R. fan and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Spending time with his family was very important to him. He will be sadly missed.

11 grandchildren:
Patrick John Kerr, Daniel Kerr, David Kerr, Justin (Lindsey) Kerr, Kyle Kerr, Sarah Kerr, Blake Kerr, Michelle (Mike) Gould, Casey Kerr, Kayla Tuggle and Kyle Tuggle

3 great grandchildren and numerous friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, his 2 sons, Michael and Donovan Kerr and 2 sisters, Beverly Trobaugh and Kay Fee preceded Pat in death.

Pat’s family will receive friends on Monday August 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Grace Church in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Patrick Kerr will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating. Luncheon will follow in the Grace Church Fellowship Hall. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Kerr family.

    Our sympathy to you and your family. Always enjoyed chatting with Pat when he was sitting outside with Max. He was such a good friend and neighbor to our son Dan and he will be missed. Cherish the happy memories of Pat in your heart.
