I will always remember your funny stories, your goofy jokes, your loving heart, and your mischievous personality! We will miss you so much!

I enjoyed many visits with Wally at the local coffee shop over the years. Always a wit and one to brighten your day. Such a great asset to our community. Thanks for the good times Wally and rest in peace.

The Anderson family is so sorry for your loss. I will always remember the little house in your back yard. I think your grand dad put it there.

I have so many great memories with Wally and Pat,I really do not know where to begin. They were my second family growing up. They were always there for my mother when she was going through hard times. My best friend was Mike when I was grade school through the early years of high school, Wally was always the dad I wish I had. I remember the times he play Santa for the kids in the neighborhood. Each year he would put on the Santa suits, he loved playing the part. One year he was coming down our walk and he slipped on some ice, he could barely walk for days, but it did not stop him from playing the part for my younger sisters. I also remember the deer hunter’s feast he would invite us to, so many good times. I remember the look in his eyes the night I told him that Pat and I race each other home from work and that Pat would be little late, because she was pulled over by the police for going through a stop sign. He had such a laugh.
In later years when I would travel back to Escanaba with my wife, Meg, we would stop by and Wally and Pat would welcome us, making Meg feel what I felt growing up. A second family and great memories. I thank Wally and Pat every time I think of them, how different our life would have been without the love and care they shared. Meg and I will miss Wally greatly, but I know he is there with Pat, the kids, grandkids and great grand kids.
