Tammie L. Johnson, 52, of 617 S. 11th Street, Escanaba, MI passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 at home in Escanaba.

Tammie was born May 25, 1963 in Duluth, MN the daughter of Bill and Pauline (Reinholdson) Longtine. She was raised in Escanaba, MI.

Tammie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing pool, watching her Nascar “Jimmie Johnson,” anything about Harley Davidsons, and buying little trinkets for people they reminded her of.

She was loved by all who that knew her and she had a smile that would light up the room. Her family will remember her as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and life long friend you’d want.

Survivors include:

Children: Travis (Dana) Nault of Vicenza, Italy. Amanda (Antonio) Failey of Goose Creek, S.C. Conrad Johnson of Rapid River, MI

Brothers: Robert Hanley Jr. and Terry Reinholdson.

Grandchildren: David Sanders, Kaelyn Sanders, Anthony Failey, Tiffany Failey, Penelope Nault and Baby Nault.

Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Laurie and grandson, Bryson Nault preceded Tammie in death.

    Tammie is a precious soul that I am blessed to have known. I will never forget her. Loved by everyone. Kind spirit. Soft heart. A beautiful blossom in the dust. I am so sorry that she went home this soon.     Tammy you were one of a kind. “THE BEST KIND”. We all knew what your family meant to you. They were your pride and joy. Those grand babies were your heart and soul. my heart goes out to them.     Tammie, I will miss you everyday of my life, I love you like a sister and that will never change. I’m so grateful for the time we spent together here in Texas, you could make me laugh like no one else. You loved your family with all of your heart, you were a good mom and a great grandma, our world will never be the same. The only thing I can do for you now, is to be there for Amanda and Conrad, and I promise I will, I will do whatever I can for them. I love you Tam!! RIP my sweet girl.
