I have so many wonderful memories of Dick. Growing up I had been apart of so many Gus Macker teams with his daughter Holly. He always there to give me tips and pointers on basketball. He was truly one of a kind and a special guy. Prayers go out to Linda, Holly, Kyle and the entire family.
Linda and family: We offer our deepest condolences/sympathies. What a shocker! We can’t imagine what you’re going through. May God comfort you. Dick was a wonderful guy and will be sorely missed.
Linda, I considered Dick to be one of my closest friend in the Model Railroad club. He went to many shows with me over the years. We always got along very well. He will be deeply missed.
“Little” Brother, Pet dog Rags, paper routes, football, trains, trucks, model railroads, cats, laughter, tears…..
Loving husband, father, grandfather, devoted son, precious sibling…..
Outstanding Legacy: Linda, Kyle, Holly, Kohl & Josh.
I love you “Butch”!

Linda and family, I was sorry to here of Dicks passing. I grew up with him and we worked together for several years at the DCRC. We knew him as “Frito” growing up. We all miss him.
Alex and I met Dick through the railroad club. He was always fun to be around with the great stories he could tell. He always talked about his grandson and how he loves trains. I think he was more excited about going to see Thomas the train than his grandson! His construction of the storage shed by the club will be a reminder of what a giving person he was. He will be missed. I hope you can still bring that grandson to the club sometime to enjoy his grandpas work
