Robert Lee Church, of Brampton, passed away Tuesday evening January 12, 2016 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
Robert was born May 16, 1930 in Clarks, NE the son of Leonard and Marjorie (Key) Church. He was raised in Clarks where he was a 1948 graduate of Chatman High School. Following graduation, Robert continued his education at the University of Nebraska. He graduated in 1952 with his B.S. Degree in Business Administration. Robert served his country for 2 years in the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Fort Sam in Houston, TX.
Robert worked for 36 years for the Campbell Soup Company where he worked in Chicago and Milwaukee. Robert was the General Manager of the Accounting Department in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1990. Robert spent his retirement years in Bella Vista, Arkansas where he could enjoy his hobbies which included boating, water skiing, leatherwork, golfing and motorcycling.
In addition to his wife Jane, who Robert was united in marriage on June 30, 1996, survivors include:
Daughters: Jeanne Church of Holdrege, NE and Keli (John) Gustafson of Perkins, MI
Sons: Kirk and Kendall Lusk
Sister: Patricia (Maynard) Anderson of Hermann, MO
Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Graveside services with military rites will be held in the Spring of 2016 at the Perkins Cemetery. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Church family.
