Christa V. Ayres, 35, of 6007 Country Club 19.25 Lane, Gladstone, (formerly of Kentucky) passed away Saturday morning November 14, 2015 at the U.P. Health Systems in Marquette following complications from a lengthy illness with cancer.
Christa was born December 31, 1979 in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of Lance and Rebecca (Ayres) Burnell. Christa loved cooking with her mother, crocheting and watching movies.
In addition to her parents, Lance and Becky of Gladstone, survivors include:
Sons: Desawn, Devon and Nathaniel
Paternal grandparents: Keith and Audrey Burnell of Gladstone
Brother: Mark Burnell of Gladstone
Sister: Kihra Ayres of Louisville, KY
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive.

Christa was my friend my sister and my family. She is loved by so many people. I am thankful for the time I had with her. She was funny ,caring ,loving and had a big heart and I miss her.
