Alice M. Trottier, age 95, of Escanaba passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
Alice was born May 10, 1920 in Gladstone, the daughter of Peter and Anna (LeCLaire) Villeneuve. She was a longtime member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Escanaba. She worked for the Eaton Corporation for many years and helped run the family farm in Flat Rock.
Alice in survived by three sons, Robert (Marilu) DeGrand of Gladstone, Gerald (Barb) Nelson of Montello, WI and Richard (Linda) Nelson of Green Bay, WI; eight grandchildren, Rikke Anderson, Kimberley (Mike) Schultz, Ryan (Connie) Nelson, Sherri (Dale) Palequin, Lee (Kara) DeGrand, Nick Stafford, Charles (Allison) Stafford and Megan Stafford, great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alex, Brooke, Sawyer, Hudson, Scarlett, Ashton, Nathen and Nicholas; a nephew, Harold Olson and a niece, Sheryl Curtis.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Nelson, Andrew DeGrand and Robert Trottier, her parents and two sisters, Katie Knutsen and Loretta Olson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM with Fr. Fran DeGroot officiating. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall. Alice will be laid to rest in the Flat Rock Cemetery.
The family is being assisted by the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba.
