Karen Lynette Kirby, age 73 of Bayview Manor, Gladstone, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening January 21, 2015 at home.
Karen was born February 23, 1941 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of George and Grace (Richardson) Jadwin. She was raised in Ohio until the age of 12 when her family moved to Florida. Karen graduated in 1959 from Chamberlin High School. Following graduation, Karen worked for Tampa G.T.E. and later in the offices of the Chamberlin High School. She retired in 2008 from the University of South Florida where she worked for 37 years as a computer programmer. Following her retirement, Karen moved to Gladstone in 2009.
Karen was a member of the Gladstone Senior Center and her hobbies included playing bingo and making crafts. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Karen was a nice person and loved her family..She will be missed, but I hope you have some comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain, but sitting with the angels watching over you.
