Wayne A. Lippold, age 70, of Rapid River, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.
Wayne was born December 7, 1943, in Stonington, the son of Melvin and Ruth (Ross) Lippold. Wayne married the former Marlene Froberg in 1964 and they made their home in Rapid River for 51 years. Wayne was employed by the Birdseye Veneer Plant and Mead Paper Corporation, for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Brother: Mark (Carol) Lippold
Sisters in law: Betty Lippold, Lora Froberg and Carol Lippold
Brothers in law: John (Patsy) Froberg, Dennis (Marcella) Froberg and Richard Froberg
Brother in law and close friend: Robert (Nancy) Froberg
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruth and brothers, Calvin, Owen, and Warren.
