Vickie I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Please know that you are in my thoughts. Warm Hugs.
Sandi Swenson
To the Stade Family, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your father. My Dad, Richard Swenson thought the world of your Dad.
I will never forget when I called your Dad a year ago to tell him of my Dad’s passing. He told me he loved him. What a special man!
Dick was always smiling and making others smile too.
I know the two of them are having a great time in heaven golfing and drinking beer.
Our loved ones don’t ever leave us. They are with us every day.
My thoughts and prayers to your whole family.

Marilyn, and family; you have my deepest sympathy at the loss of your husband and father. Dick was such an integral part of my growing up. With the gang hunting at my Uncle Bummy’s camp, Dick was always welcoming to all of us “youngsters”, that were just getting into hunting. You could always be sure that every time you would find a great place to build a blind, you just needed to look around in the trees, and you’d find a stand Dick had put up years before. I will truly miss him. God Bless.

Marilyn and family; we were so surprised and saddened to hear of Dick’s passing. He was such a kind and thoughtful man and a great neighbor to my parents. There is no doubt that my mother would not have been able to stay in her house as long as she did without the two of you there to support her. Thanks so much for the great memories and may God comfort you daily.

Marilyn and family,My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Dick’s passion for family, golf, and the Gladstone Golf Club were very evident in my time at the GGC. I will miss seeing him there when I travel back to the UP.
Greg Seeley
Dear Stade Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear that Dick passed away. He was such a kind, caring, warm, and gentle man. He made us feel so welcome each time we paid a visit to Gladstone. Not only was he a gifted storyteller, he was also a consummate listener–always anxious to hear the stories that you had to tell. For us, he embodied all that is good about Gladstone and the UP: he was good-natured, down-to-earth, and friendly. Gladstone has lost a special son, but the magic and love he left behind in each of us will endure.
We will miss you, Uncle Dick.
Love,
Greg, Julie, and Merrick Seeley
