Michael Joseph Gieryk, 60, of Gladstone, passed away
September 1, 2014 at the Marquette General Hospital.
He was born November 16, 1953 in Flint, MI. He attended LaSalle High School in St. Ignace and Bay de Noc College of Escanaba. He was employed for many years at M & B Auto.
Michael was a lifetime Moose member and he loved to
work on automobiles.
He was a great husband,father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Mike was a long-standing member of the community and
was always there to help anyone in need. His parents,
Constantin and Maxine Gieryk, and his son Mike Jr. and
sister, Bonnie, preceded him in death.
Mike is survived by his wife Carla, daughter, Tammi, son, James, son-in-law, Bill Belanger, daughter-in-law, Lori Gieryk, grandchildren, Devon Gieryk, Brianna Gieryk, Kyle Belanger, Cody Belanger and Taylor Gieryk, great granddaughter, Carly Belanger, sisters, Glenda Shinabarger and husband Mike, Ann Ashley and Connie Litzner and husband Daniel Litzner.
Numerous nieces, nephews and many special
friends, including Matt and Ruth Dagenais.

Dear Carla and family,I had the pleasure of getting to know your husband and father while he help Matt & Nicole in their new home. He was a VERY kind man who knew a lot about many different remodeling projects. He was always willing to help out when he was needed. I know you will all miss him very very much, try to remember that he is at peace right now resting with our heavenly father. He loved you all very much. Peace be with you.
