Dear Family,Sorrowfully I read of Mae’s passing. Many memories of activities at St. Joseph Church in Perkins came flooding back. It was always a joy to serve with someone as dedicated to the Lord as Mae.

We are sorry to hear the passing of Aunt Mae. At 98 she lived a long and productive life as indicated in her obituary. She was a very caring person who enjoyed life and was always in a happy mood and uplifting sprit. She will be missed and always in our thoughts.
I hope your moms passing was peaceful and you shared lots of pleasant stories about earlier times.
While reminiscing, Thoughts about our trips north, as a kid in the fifties.(I like to think I still am) I have lots of pleasant memories: in the barn jumping in the pile of hay, getting a shot of warm milk in the face straight from the cows teat (I am sure a trick you all learned from uncle Bud) as whoever was doing the milking when we happened to wander in the milking parlor would point it in our direction and give it a pull and let out a hearty laugh, playing ball in the freshly mowed hay field and finally Richard teaching me by my experience about electric fences. Gail and Ann entertaining us with music and songs. My Dad and Jimmy catching a large Trout in the river and baking it at Hartwick Pines in Grayling on the way home. Fishing in Bay DeNoc with a friend or family member of Buds, (his name might have been Coon or Coons, he had a red boat if that helps.) We usually caught lots of Lake Perch
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love Pat and Mary
