Rita A. King, 75, of Carpentersville, Illinois, died on February 28, 2004 at the Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Illinois. She was born September 8, 1928 in Schaeffer, Michigan, the daughter of Emanuel and Leola (Patton) Daigneault… She had been living in Carpentersville, Illinois for the past 25 years with her daughter Susan and her family.
Rita was a graduate of the Escanaba High School class of 1947.
She is survived be her children: Vernon (Goldie) King of Kingston, IL; Ronald (Debbie) Brodersen of Carpentersville, IL; Patrick (Deborah) King of Appleton, WI; Debra King of Marengo, IL; Denise (Perry) Gillette of Marengo; IL 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Mercedes Peterson and Cecile Patrick both of Escanaba, MI; Lois (Oniell) King of Ford River, MI; Brothers: Eugene Daigneault; John (Phyllis) Dagneault both of Escanaba, MI; James (Eileen) Dagineault of Bark River, MI; David (Carol) Dagineault of Hazel Park, MI; and Robert Dagineault of Chandler, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Isodore and a sister in infancy.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church in Escanaba with Rev. Fr. George Maki officiating. A Lunch will follow the service in the church hall
Memorials may be made out to the Carpentersville Rescue Squad or the Sherman Hospital ICU.
