Rev. Clifford C. Peterson, age 90, of 6163 County 513 T Road; Rapid River (Stonington area), died peacefully at home Friday morning, May 28th, 2004.
He was born July 24th, 1913 in Center City, Minnesota, the son of Swedish parents, August and Carolina (Halvorson) Peterson. After his high school graduation,

Was saddened to hear of the death of Rev. Pete. I have fond memories of serving as his altar boy at First Lutheran Church in Gladstone in 1948-51. I visited in your home about 4 years ago, with my fiancee, and was always thrilled to be in his presence. He left a lasting impression on me!
