I’ll always remember Billy’s magnificent voice soaring out to fill the church when my mother, Evelyn Negilski died. He was a good friend to her and to our family. I read of Bill’s death with great sadness. I never hear the song “Wind Beneath My Wings” without thinking of Bill and his tribute to my mother. My sympathy to the Taylor family and his friend John Vandewiele.

Debbie, Chauntelle & Chase: I was very sorry to read of Bill’s death. I’ll never forget him playing the keyboard at the campground while my dad sang that old Finnish sauna song, and when he played at the family reunion. I hope you know that if you need anything, you just have to call. I just wish there was something I could do to make this easier on you all. Please call if there is anything. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and God Bless. You know how to reach me. Love,

I’m so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. He will be missed. I have very fond memories of Bill especially those surrounding the music that Bill and I played together as a duo and with a band. Although at times he didn’t believe it, Bill was truely a very talented man. His voice was incredible. I know many thought it to be a true blessing. I do know as well from the many many occassions that we discussed his family he had a deep and powerful love for them especially his children. My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you all, his biological and extended family. God Bless you all and may peace be with you. It’s always a very sad time when you lose someone you love and I hope and pray for the fondest of memories of Bill to remain in your hearts always.

A best friend has found his way to eternal life, and I miss him already. I miss talking and sharing and his kind heart. I miss his singing and playing key board. There is no replacement. There is a void in my life now. God rest his soul.

I, too, am saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. We lived across the street from him when he lived on Lake Street and my dad just loved to sit outside on the porch listen to Bill play the organ. It’s amazing how many lives he touched with his gift. He will be a blessed addition to the angel chorus.

I just had the pleasure of meeting Bill this past July at a family gathering. What a personable individual! He was easy to talk to and genuine. He treated us all with the keyboard and song and we loved it!
He will surely be missed. My sympthy to his family and to John VandeWiele. Take comfort in your memories and know that he is at peace.

I, and our pharmacy staff at Wal-mart, extend our deepest sympathies to John and to Bill’s family. I’ve known Bill for many years dating back to our singing days in Marquette, and his good humor and caring personality made him a dear friend. His deep faith and eternal optimism made him an inspiration for me. I will miss him and our short phone conversations we had whenever he would call the pharmacy. I am extremely thankful that I was able to know him.
