Doris DuVernay, age 84, currently residing at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba and former Manistique area resident died Thursday morning at the Christian Park Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, and her daughter, Linda Smith, is listed among the survivors. Burial will be in Algonac, Michigan.
