Victor was always the light of his familv and peers, never failing to make everyone laugh and feel unconditionally loved. He also enjoyed “putzing around” in his home workshop, there was almost nothing he couldn’t fix, and when he couldn’t, you knew it by his infamous saying – “Stupid outfit!”

Above all, alongside his faith, Victor was a dedicated family man.

4 Tributes for “Victor Corwin

Vic was one of the most faithful loving people that I have ever been blessed to know. Years back we would spend hours out on the golf course and not even keep score. We would just talk about our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and fellowship with each other. He was a blessing to be around. I had worked for him and Sandy on several occasions and knew most of his family. My prayers go out for Vic’s family and I certainly look forward to the day when I see him again in Heaven as we both enjoy for all eternity the home that God has prepared for his children. May God’s perfect grace and peace settle on you all.

My condolences to Vic’s entire family. I had the pleasure of knowing Vic through our years of working together at the Papermill. He was a great guy and very friendly! Rest in Peace my friend!

Vic was an absolutely treasure, brother and unwavering friend. His love for Jesus was infectious. I first met him when I was a relatively new believer and first starting out in ministry. He was extremely supportive and encouraging. He loved to laugh, tease and cut up but the moment he started talking about his faith and who Jesus was in his life, he would often get overwhelmed by God’s love for him and the grace he experienced. Fast forward 15 years. I came back to the area and served as pastor at Harbor Lights for five years. Vic served as an intricate member of the elder board. As an elder he was a trusted confidant, wise advisor, and unwavering in his support and encouragement. It was one of the greatest honors in my life to have Vic call me pastor because I respected him so much. His love of Jesus, uncompromising personal faith, and deep love for his family and friends are an example still strive to live up to today. He loved his family so, so much. His love for Sandy, his kids and grand kids was something he shared often in our conversations. My wife and I had three young children at the time and I was often encouraged by Vic’s example to try to be as good of a husband, father and follower of Jesus as he was. I count Vic as one of my “spiritual father’s” and will deeply miss him. But I can’t wait to see him again on the other side, see that smile come across his face, have him make a light hearted joke and then see the tears roll down his face as he starts to tell me about what it has been like seeing Jesus face to face and sitting in His presence with precious Sandy at his side.

    Love you my brother…..
