Cathy, Tina, Bob and Mickey; there are no words to tell you of the sadness I feel at Tom’s passing. One of the greatest things about living in your neighborhood was the way your entire family treated Toni and Tyler while we lived down the street. Your house was definitely the place to hang out, enjoying the fires in the yard and playing with the kids. I was lucky enough to be in your back yard a few times for that, and it was always a great time. I always knew that I could be comfortable knowing that the girls were there! Even after all these years, I’ve often thought of all of you with much fondness. You’re a wonderful family unit, and that bond will help you all get through this difficult time. Tom will be missed by all who loved him. Tom was always very obviously a “parent”; someone who enjoyed his kids and family life. I always thought of him as so young at heart. I’m privileged to have known him, as are Toni and Tyler. Sometimes we’re all just lucky to meet and be around people that make you comfortable and are fun to be with; I always found that to be true with Tom and the rest of you. Bless you all so much. I know there are people around to help you through this very sad time, and I pray that their strength will see you through. My thoughts are with you all.

Tom was a wonderful man. He loved the daycare kids so much and was very very special to my grandaughter Haylee. She was his little princess, she will miss him deeply as will anyone that knew him.
Thank you Tom for brightening my little angels life and making it easier for her to be away from her mom.

It is with deep sadness that I have heard of the great loss of Mr. DeMars. He was a wonderful and man and father. The DeMars family was one of the first I met as a young child. I graduated with Micky and I enjoyed my childhood around the DeMars family. I send all my love and prayers during this difficult time.

Cathy,
Sorry to hear about Tom. It has been so long since I seen him,I live in Missouri. I probably passed him on the street in Esky when we visited, and didn’t even know him. Tom was the Godfather to my son Jim. I know if you talk to Nancy she will know who I am. I am Mary (LaMarche) Richards. Its been along time but I was very close to the whole family years and years ago. Tom was a good man, may God bless you and your whole family.
