Beautiful woman with a big heart.John & Helen took me into their home after my mom died unexpectedly when I was a senior in Rock High School. I was able to complete my senior year and to plan my wedding the following year. She was a true example of a selfless giver for others ❤️

I was saddened when I saw that Helen had passed away. Having spent several years teaching in the Perkins/Mid-Pen school system, I remember her involvement in the school. My condolences go out to her family

I met Helen only once for a short time but in a way, I am forever grateful to her. I was a foreign exchange student under her YFU program and was placed with a family in Rapid River. That was almost 40 years ago!. I never went back home and stayed in the area after I met a guy when I started at Bay College and we started our own family.
My deepest sympathy to her family.
