Hi to all the Kleikamp and Melton family and friends,
Mom told me about Mary. I just found this. Please know that I am so sorry for your (our) loss of this great cousin of mine. No, I have not seen her for years, but she is still the baby! to me. Uncle Ed, I think you broke your leg when I was going into 9th grade, so Mary would have been about1 1/2 when I came to baby sit while Aunt Joan went to see you every day. Just want you all to know I am thinking and praying for your comfort and peace at this sad time.
Much love to you all, Marie

I will miss you Aunt Mary so much! The only comforts I have in your passing is knowing your suffering is over, you are once again with Grandma Joan, and the gift of reconnection you have brought to our family.
I remember when we were little, and you would babysit us, we always had alot of fun! Remember Puddles…how he would come into your house to take naps? Remember going to rummage sales? Remember the awful golf shoes that should NEVER have been made for a baby my mom bought for Brad Jr.? Remember when you guys came to Escanaba to visit from Lower MI, and how Billy, Missy, and Amanda had a rummage sale with your suitcases? So many great memories, they all make me chuckle and smile. You were always happy, and passed that spirit along to all that had the privledge to know and love you. We will miss you so much, but we know that you’re not far; you’re in our hearts forever, and our spirits will be together again someday.

Aunt Mary, just saying that name aloud gives me flashbacks to the summers of my youth. Of the frequent visits with my dad and I to visit you guys. Life back then was like an eternal summer. Much like the eternal summer you now go to be a part of. You are with the mother you loved so much once again, so while I mourn your passing, I take solace knowing you are in a better place, watching down upon me with Grandma Joan.
God Bless.

I have been working out of town for several years now and heard through the on-line newspaper of Mary’s passing. I was shocked and saddened by the news. I have many fond memories of Mary from Little Mike’s, where we both worked years ago. Mary always had a way of brightening up the place and making me laugh. She was a joy to know and I will miss her. My condolences to her children and to the rest of her family.

Our deepest condolences to you all in the loss of Mary. Terry and I did not know she was ill. We both liked her very much and she will be missed by many. She of course is in a better place but we all know that is not the comfort you need at this time.
Thoughts and prayers to you. May god bless you.

Mary was my neighbor at 923 Stephenson ave. back in the late 1980’s. She was always very nice to me and my boys. She and her husband Brad and Amanda and “Boo-Boo” were good people. I want to express my prayers and condolences to her family and I pray they find peace as they go through this difficult time.
