We onboard the M/V Joseph L. Block heard Wednesday about Shirley. The crew has changed alot since she retired but everyone who knew Shiley was saddened by the news.
A custom onboard is to send flowers but I can only assume we missed her service. If you would like some flowers for a site or a donation made to one of her favorite orgaizations please make us aware.
She will be missed by all.

Dear family of Shirley Bader,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you with the loss of your loved one. I enjoyed working with Shirley at Christian Park with her restorative therapy program and also her conversations. Some of you family members I know better than others. My thoughts and prayers will be with you through your most difficult time. Sincerely,
