Rebecca “Becky” Ann Carley, age 57, formerly of Cooks, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
She was born July 15, 1966 in Manistique, Michigan, the daughter of Helen Mary (Leveille) and Leonard “Jolly” Alton Carley, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers Carl (Ruth) Carley, David (Lisa) Carley, Daniel (Deborah) Carley and sister Cherri Tallman, as well as 5 nieces, 7 nephews, and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews. Becky graduated from Escanaba Area Public Schools and also worked at Lakestate Industries in the sheltered workshop.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.

I visited the Carley home many times as a teenager where I met Becky. She was a quiet child but quite delightful in many ways. She was quick to get your attention when she needed to and would always smile when she got it. She was loved and appreciated by her family who always shared in her life. I thank God Becky was a part of this life where we all learned many things from her. No one deserves to be thought of during this sad time as she does, a gentle spirit who teaches love and tenderness over and over. Her mom and dad are awaiting her presence with joy. God is too I am sure. Blessings to you Carley family as I know she will be sadly missed.
