Patricia J. DeMenter, age 89, of Gladstone passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Pat was born August 30, 1934 in Escanaba, the daughter of William and Pearl (Rottcholl) Curtis. She was united in marriage to John DeMenter on January 8, 1955 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Escanaba. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock and was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to the casino, gambling, bingo, traveling to Las Vegas, watching the Green Bay Packers and bowling in her younger years.
Pat is survived by her children, Terry DeMenter, David DeMenter, Vicki (Steve) McDonald, Tim (Teri) DeMenter and Kelly DeMenter; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) DeMenter, Jordan (Justin) Cotter, Timmy (Lauren) DeMenter, Ben Bisson, Bradley McDonald and Ava and Ella DeMenter; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Lucas DeMenter, Bristol and Danny McDonald and Peyton DeMenter and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, granddaughter, Sara DeMenter and siblings, Joyce Karius and William Curtis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 22 at 11:00 AM Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock with Fr. Sebastian Chacko officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.

We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Pat’s passing. We have so many special memories of her & Bucky from family gatherings that we’ll cherish forever. We’re sure Uncle Bucky is welcoming her to heaven with open arms – together again. ❤️
