Douglas Wicke

Douglas L. Wicke, age 59, passed away early Sunday morning, April 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving wife.

Doug was born July 25, 1963, in Lansing, MI, the son of Lawrence and Luella (Faber) Wicke.

He worked at the steel plants for many years.

Doug was an avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed fishing and camping.

Doug was united in marriage to Brenda Berglund on July 10, 2012 in Gladstone.

In addition to wife Brenda, Doug is survived by:

2 Daughters: Jennifer Wicke and Kaitlyn (Cory) Fort

And Brother: Allen (Diane) Wicke

Doug was preceded in death by his Parents.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone with Pastor Foster officiating. A luncheon will take place at the Rapid River Congregational Church.
