I never called him Rick, it was always Dad, or Grandpa around the kids. Long before I met his son, he and I were work buddies at Walmart, and in the 8 years since, I believe we’ve grown close enough to say I was the daughter he never had. Its okay that I’m not listed tho, cause my kids, his grandkids, all are, including the 3 I already had who he had no obligation to love; he never treated them any differently, and seeing their names melted my whole heart, because he’d have wanted them on there. RIP Dad, until I see you again. ♡
♡ Love, your daughter, Chelsee ♡
