Mildred O. (Groos) Davis, Gladstone, passed on January 28, 2008, at St Francis Hospital, Escanaba, after a brief illness. Millie was the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Bournonville) Groos, who were long time residents and descendents of the founders of Groos, Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ed

Jean,Satch and family, I was shocked to see Millie had past. I loved your mom very much. We had a lot of great times between work, bingo, and parties. She was a very loving and giving person. To Millie’s family,
We were sorry to learn of Millie’s passing and especially moved by Mack being there holding her hand when she passed.(until death us do part) How many couples are nearly as dedicated as they were to one another? I know Millie will rest in peace and am happy she’s no longer in pain. You have been in my prayers. We had hoped to make it to the funeral home but I couldn’t make it right now. I want you to know I’m praying for you.
