She worked for Montgomery Wards from 1972 until 1982 as a service clerk in the appliance repair shop until the store closed. Naida then worked at the Family History Center for years, where she developed many new friendships and met relatives she didn’t know she had. Naida also took an active part in planning class reunions, loved doing genealogy, and was a devoted parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.

Naida was my new “neighbor” when I sold my home in Ford River and moved into the apartment complex at Bishop Noa. She was such a warm, friendly neighbor and always very positive and determined to do her exercise each day. I just recently had helped her with a new “hair style” that looked absolutely adorable on her and she seemed to really like it also. I am so sorry she has left us but her memory will remain with all of us, even those who only knew her for a short time. Hope to see you again in heaven some day, Naida!

Naida was a good friend. Our paths crossed at the Family History Library. I was digging up my ancestors, and she was a volunteer helping people who came there. Many times she would give me a ride home, or there. I shall remember her with a smile, because I always enjoyed talking with her.

To my good friend Naida. I cherish the memory of our genealogy trips and our daily walks along the Bay de Noc shoreline. Nothing in Arizona has ever been as rewarding as our friendship in Gladstone.
