Steven George Feher, age 79, of Rapid River, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Murray’s Country View in Gladstone.
Steven was born October 27, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Margaret and Steven Feher. Steven grew up in Chicago before their family relocated to Stephenson, Michigan. He lived in Stephenson until joining the United States Army. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1962. He was honorably discharged in 1962. In 1964, Steven was united in marriage to the former Judith Thomas. Together they spent 57 wonderful years together.
Steven worked at various car dealerships before starting work as an automotive technician at O’hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois. Steven worked there for 25 years until he retired. After retiring, Steven enjoyed hot rod cars. He even built a 1970 Plymouth Duster hot rod car for car shows. Steven also enjoyed spending time with his family, and they will deeply miss him.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Judy, his sons Daniel J. Feher and Paul Steven (Brandi) Feher, granddaughter Jessie Nicole Feher, brothers Bela (Jan) Feher and Joseph (Carol) Feher, sister-in-law Diane (Dan) Coppock, nephews Justin Coppock and Steven Feher, and nieces Janelle Gross, and Audrey Koch.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Steven, brother-in-law Bill Thomas, and parents-in-law Alice Catherine Thomas and Glenn Thomas.
