Carol A. Narkooli, age 55, of Rock, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022 at her home.

Carol was born December 6, 1966, in Escanaba, the daughter of Bill and Bonnie (Johnson) LaCosse. Carol was raised in Perkins and attended Mid Peninsula High School before attending Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. Carol loved art, and was very talented with wood burning as well as painting. She also enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Most of all, Carol cherished being with her family. She will be truly missed by so many.

Carol is survived by her parents, Bill and Bonnie LaCosse, children Jessi Rudden, Jackie Olsen, Michael Narkooli, Missy Narkooli, Mitchell Narkooli, Nathan Dunlop, and Zachary Narkooli, grandchildren Ashton Dery, Marcus Rudden, Alexis Dery, and Bryce Olsen, brother Thomas (Laurie) LaCosse, nieces Gina Gereau and Mallorie Norman, nephew Max LaCosse, several cousins, close friend Ralph Johnson, as well as her beloved dogs Abby and Sonny, granddog Wally, and her cat George.

Carol is preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Narkooli and sister Linda LaCosse.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone from 11 AM to 1 PM. Funeral services honoring Carol will begin at 1 PM with Rev. Fr. William Ssozi officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church parish hall in Perkins.

    So sorry for your loss she surely will be missed by all who knew and loved her so much!!! I have became friends with her and she was the most caring sweet nice friend and we sure had a lot of good times together in our younger years!! Prayers and hugs to the whole family!!!

    We are so sorry for your loss! Carol was too young to go to Heaven. I’m so glad I got to work with her awhile at the bakery. RIP cousin.
