James is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy, sister-in-law Carrie Deno, and great nephew Devon.

The family would like to thank James’ hospice nurses, as well as Rachel and niece Sheila for their wonderful, compassionate care of James in his final weeks.

Private memorial services will be held honoring James. A celebration of life is being scheduled for a later date.

We are so sorry for your loss. Jimmy is now out of pain and resting peacefully with our Lord. God bless his beautiful family. Hugs and sympathy.

Pin man! His reply was always “ya man”. Karen and I want to give the entire Deno family our condolences. He will be missed by so many. Love ya Jim. RIP

I am deeply saddened to lose such a good friend. Jimmy was one of the sweetest, funniest, most generous and kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.
I first met him as a customer at the Grain n Grape. I was always happy to see him at work. Many times he’d come in to get one quick thing, but end up hanging out and yakking with me for an hour! He was great to talk to and could easily cheer you up if you weren’t having the best day. He made everyone smile whenever he was around.
I remember when I learned that he shared the same birthday as my daughter and he says to me, “Well I know you won’t forget then when to shower me with cake and presents!” Such a funny guy!
I know he looked forward to being a family with my friend Rachel and he enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. They were a great couple..
I was glad I had the opportunity to tell him how much I enjoyed his friendship and what he meant to me. It was hard to see him suffer with his cancer. He loved life and looked forward to enjoying it with Rachel and all of his family and friends.
The mention of his name will always bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. He is deeply missed, but forever remembered. Love and hugs to Rachel, LJ and Sheila as well as the rest of his family and friends. Rest in peace Jimmy. Until we meet again in our father’s kingdom…
