Elizabeth M. Cooper, age 66, of Perkins, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at UP Health Systems Marquette surrounded by her family.
Elizabeth was born April 29, 1955, the daughter of Henry and Betty (Demuse) Doneau. Elizabeth grew up in Perkins and was a graduate of Gladstone High School. She continued her education at Bay de Noc Community College earning an Associates Degree. Elizabeth worked for most of her life as a CNA.
On October 26, 1972, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Wayne Cooper and together they shared many great years together. Elizabeth enjoyed crocheting, sewing curtains, and taking care of her yard. She also enjoyed watching NFL Football. She especially loved her rugs, and had so many in her collection. But most of all, Elizabeth loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by many.
Elizabeth is survived by her spouse Wayne, children Jenny Cooper, Vickie (Allen) Dwyer, and Jamie (Carrie) Cooper, grandchildren Nichole Stodola, Ashely Stodola, Brandon Luedtke, Derek Arrowood, Kaylin Arrowood, Clay Cooper, and Cole Cooper, great-grandchildren Connor, Trevor, Landon, and Sawyer LaMarche as well as Alexa Arrowood, brothers Brian and Terry Doneau, sisters Donna Larson and Amy Ebbesen, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Betty, as well as brother Mike Doneau and sister Debbie Trudell.
Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Rapid River Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
