Wayne M. Gaus, age 77, of Gladstone passed away at home on Thursday, March 21, 2019.
Wayne was born August 31, 1941 in Kipling, the son of Matthew and Anne (Leisner) Gaus. He was united in marriage to Mary Hansen on January 19, 1963 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Escanaba. Wayne enjoyed being in the outdoors, working in the woods, logging, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars when he was younger.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Mary of Gladstone, sons, Rick Gaus of Escanaba, James Gaus of Brampton and Mark (fiance’ Lois) Gaus of Brampton; grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, Amanda and Mark Jr., four great grandchildren and his sister Oleda Alvey of Gladstone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, Marlin and sister, Evelyn LeDuc.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Gaus family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
