So sorry for your loss Ruth Ann. Though had your differences I know how much you loved him

So very sorry to hear that Warren has passed away. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Denise, in this most difficult of times.

Warren was an exceptionally kind and giving person from his youngest years. He and my brother Mark were close friends as they grew up in the same church family, to their days playing for the Braves football team side-by-side, and as the decades and life travels separated them. Warren’s kindness and caring nature shined when alcohol devastated Mark’s family life and health. I have never seen a greater commitment to a friendship or compassion from an adult man, ever. Warren will be remembered and missed – he truly was a giant among men

So very sorry for your loss. I knew Warren for many years and he was just a nice guy. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

    Dear Ruth Ann and Bruce,
We are living in Marquette now and do not see a newspaper until a few days late. I am so sorry to read of the loss of your brother. I remember his hitch hiking to Escanaba in the early 1970’s. He and his friends were the only hitch hikers I ever picked up because I knew Putzzer! Our days as kids growing up were special times.
I am so sorry for your loss, and you and your family are close in our thoughts and prayers during this time. Jerilynn Clark Krokstad

Rita and I are saddened for your loss-Denise we are on the road coming home from FL-you are in our thoughts and prayers and we will see you when we get home

So sad. I remember Warren always having a smile on his face. He was such a pleasant gentleman. Even though I haven’t seen him since High School I have fond memories of him.

So sorry to hear of putzzers passing. Pickles was a one of a kind. He always had a smile and could brighten your day. Going to miss ole dill pickle. My thoughts and prayers are with you Denise and your family. Warren is truly going to be missed.

Can’t express how much Warren meant to me as a friend since I’d known him…45 years worth.Great times, too numerous to mention, (some tough ones too). Hopefully his memories will keep the family members going for a lot of years…”Over and Out” one last time.

I am so sorry to hear of Warren’s Passing. We shared a love of music and local radio. Warren was the best Off air D.J. I knew. At weddings he always had the Dance floor hopping and knew just the right song to play. Growing up in a Soo Line Family was not easy with our Dad’s being on the road and on call so often, but we had fun at the wreck with Coach Pfotenhauer keeping us in line and always finding something to do. Warren, You will be missed.

Denise, you are in our Prayers Always.

Warren was a caring person who always took time to talk with you. He was an awesome DJ. Everlasting memories and music in our hearts.
    Prayers to you all.

I just recently heard of Warren’s passing. Although I haven’t seen him for nearly 40 years, he will always hold a special place in my heart. In reading the tributes, it’s nice to realize that he stayed the sweet gentle man that I remember, throughout his life.
