My sympathy goes out to each and everyone of you .I stopped to visit Victoria quite often when my mom was a resident at Schoolcraft too. I so enjoyed Vicki showing and sharing her crafty talents, She truly was amazing ! I’m not sure if I was suppose to, but I would bring her treats especially homemade Carmel corn her favorite! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

Although we (Victoria) never met, your husband Pat L. and I were good friends back in the day in Wells. I wish we could have gotten together for a few laughs and learned more about each other..I’m sorry you had to leave us, but know you won’t be alone, with my friend Pat waiting for you…My thoughts and prayers to your family

    Vicki’s family:
I was deeply saddened & sorry to hear of the loss of Vicki. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to each of you.

Vicki was a phenomenal & once-in-a-life-time friend way back in the early 70s. I loved this girl as she had a wild sense of humor & never took herself too seriously. She was vivacious, adventurous & lived life to the fullest. When around Vicki excitement & the unexpected were inevitable.

Vicki, Carol Boden & I spent much time together sharing laughter, tears, hopes & dreams. Between the three of us we solved all the world problems. Oh, what a great time it was.

I stayed in Escanaba long enough to be one of Vicki’s bridesmaids & to meet her first two children (Craig & Heidi) whom she loved beyond measure.

As life will have it we went our separate ways. I saw Vicki for the last time in 1980 when I visited Escanaba. I am thankful for the time I spent with this kind, beautiful soul. Good-bye for now my old friend. See you on the other side.
