Shirley E. Ware, age 89, of Gladstone, MI, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba, MI.
Shirley was born August 30, 1927 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Austin and Charlotte (Bacon) DeLano. She graduated from Battle Creek High School and received an Associate’s degree from Kellogg Community College. She was a loving and caring wife and mother.
In addition to her loving husband, Lewis E. Ware, she is survived by:
1 Son: Jeff (Jenny) Ware of Rapid River
1 Daughter: Vivian Ayers of Escanaba
2 Grandchildren: Mike and Amy
3 Great Grandchildren
and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by:
Son: Bruce Ware
Brothers: Lyle and WIlliam DeLano
And Sister: Thelma Nay
A graveside service for Shirley will be scheduled in the Summer. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Ware family.
