Sandy (my favorite cousin ), I was shocked to hear of your passing. It is so hard to believe as I thought you would live forever since you took my shots in kindergarten and never let me forget it. I am sure you will remind me when we hook up in Heaven. You were so brave telling me you had the shots and they didn’t hurt so you would go in my place. Having the same name was good for me!
Miss you, my condolences to your family. Sincerely, Sandy Joyce Rahoi Farmer

Another angel has gained her wings. Way too soon. Growing up, I always thought Sandy was “my” Miss America! She was bigger than life to this five year old. I had the privilege of being the flower girl in her wedding. Somehow, Henry & I thought it was acceptable to play with the little red wagon BEFORE the ceremony, dressed in our cute little bridal party outfits. Sandy was calm and very collected about the whole situation. Which turned out to be how she handled most situations throughout life. Her smile & hugs were heartfelt, she was sweet and kind to all of us. Her laugh was infectious. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for and taking care of them. Knowing she’s reunited with her dear Tom and her Mom, provides some comfort. I pray for peace for her children, grandchildren and great grandchild as they navigate the new path that has been laid out before them. Be kind to one another and know that you were loved.

    Dear family of Sandy,
I was so sad to hear of Sandy’s passing.
I have such warm thoughts and wonderful memories of working with her at Wickert Floral. Her sweet, gentle and caring nature will always remain an inspiration and source of joy.
What a wonderful and loved woman.

    To all of Sandy’s family,
It was good to spend time with you during Sandra’s memorial. Her service was touching and I am certain she was smiling down on all of you. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you and you grieve the loss yet celebrate the life of Sandy.
    God’s peace to you all,
    Judy (Couveau) Valente

I just learned today of Sandy’s passing and am shocked and saddened. I believe the last time I saw her was at Mikayel’s wedding. Sweet lady.
