Rennie M. Bintner, age 59, of Escanaba, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 after a hard battle with MS. She had her family by her side to the very end. She is now peaceful and no longer suffering.

Rennie was born July 13, 1958 in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of Robert and Nancy (Liberty) Martin. She graduated from Escanaba High School in 1980.

Rennie was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved her family, friends, and cherished every single moment with her Grandbabies. Family was always her number one.

She never missed anything her 3 precious children were involved in. She was and always will be their #1 fan.

She was a very selfless person and always making sure everyone was happy. Her laugh was incredibly infectious and unique and we always knew where she was because of that. She always focused on everyone else having a great time. She thrived on living life and bringing happiness to those around her.

There will never be another Detention Lady like Mrs. Porath. She loved every single one of those detention kids. She helped put the troubled kids on a good path and was always there whenever they needed her.

She will be forever loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Rennie was preceded in death by her parents.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from Noon until 2:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services for Rennie will follow visiting hours at 2:00 PM with Pastor Erik Heskin of Bethany Lutheran officiating. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Bintner family.

    Annie,robbin ,Rob, and Brenda…I was shocked and saddened when Bart phoned me of Rennies passing! It is difficult to know what to say, in times like this, but I want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I am sending you “all my love!”

    Rennie and I had more fun with her being the detention lady atbEHS and me being a special Ed teacher. I would send a kid, the kid would vent to her and after calm, come back. I’d ask if he or she liked visiting my sister. They would get quiet and desperately try to remember if they said anything bad about me to her. We had so very many great laughs over being this dynamic duo:)

    My prayers and thoughts are with her family and friends.Our beautiful Rennie is no longer suffering.She is celebrating in heaven with her Mom,Dad and Gran.

    To the family of Rennie, Rennie and I worked together starting at Lemmer School as Noon Hour Supervisors. Then ended up at the Junior High as Teacher Aides. Later and last we were at Escanaba High School together. She as the Dentition Lady and me as an Aide for students. I have known Rennie many years though the work place and she is one person I will always remember. She was funny and had a certain laugh that I won’t forget. She was fun to be around no matter where we were. Anyone that knew Rennie will never forget her. She really was something special. RIP Rennie And keep everyone in heaven laughing like you helped us laugh down here on earth. Many will miss you, but will always remember you with love. <3

    In Remembrance of my beautiful cousin, Rennie.

    I remember summers in Escanaba, with Rennie and family. The private beach and watering hole that turned out to be in the shipping lanes, and the raft that drifted out on occasion there. She was fearless! Rennie was very close to her father, (my Uncle Bunny), and now they are reunited. The Holy Spirit has granted her complete healing. She will be missed here on earth.

    My deepest condolences to the Bintner family and friends for the loss of your loved one Rennie.     I remember walking rennie last yr helping her smoke a cig and getting some fresh air n sunshine m,,,she loved the out doors and her grand children ♡♡♡ R.I.P. RENNIE WE LOVE YOU♡

    I’m truly sorry to hear of the passing of Rennie. I knew the Martin family when they lived on 1st Avenue North in the 60’s but lost touch with many of them when they moved past the Webster School. I know her battle is over now, and she is in Heaven and is a much better place. Free to fly. My sympathy for those who have to go on without her. I know it isn’t easy.

    Sending much love and continued prayers for comfort as Rennie now rests in peace. I sure had many good times shared in lots of laughter with her over the years.     I was very sad and shocked to hear of Rennie’s passing. She was a great neighbor for many years and when Gary and I moved to Wisc. her and her family purchased our home. So happy always with a big smile. Way too young y and friends. Sending prayers for Rennie and her family and friends. Peace to all.
