Patrick Carlson

Resided in Escanaba, MI
Died May 11, 2017

On Thursday, May 11th at 4:50 p.m. Patrick Oliver Carlson was born at OSF Hospital in Escanaba. He weighed 3.4 oz and was six and a quarter inches in length.  It is with mixed emotions we also celebrated Patrick’s eternal birthday.

We are grateful for these last 17 weeks that we have had this child in my wife’s womb.  Patrick has brought our family great joy and anticipation.  We praise and thank God for the time we have had with him.  We also humbly give this child back to our Lord trusting that He has prepared a place for Patrick.  Now we patiently wait until one day we meet can meet him again.

Until that time comes, Patrick Oliver, pray for all of us.

Life is beautiful and so are you!

Patrick is survived by his parents Joe and Anne Carlson along with his five siblings, Joseph, John David, Tommy, Maria and Timmy.

Patrick will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery

One Tribute for “Patrick Carlson

    Dear Joe and Annie,

My heart goes out to you and your loved ones in this excruciating time of sorrow. For some reason, God in His great love and wisdom chose to take Patrick home to him now and we must trust His decision, as painful as it is for all of us who already loved the littlest Carlson.

May it give you peace and comfort to know that he is with many who love him and have eagerly awaited his arrival, including your father and grandfather, Joe, and Tom. And, of course, he is being cradled in the arms of Our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph while being protected by The Holy Spirit and his guardian angel. God always provides for those He loves.

Please know that many are praying for little Patrick and your beautiful family, Joe and Annie. You are dearly loved and treasured and God does not abandon those who love and trust Him.

May the eternal peace and comfort of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and yours, today and forever.

    Love,
    Kris
