Patricia A. “Pat” Tatrow, age 81, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Wednesday morning, March 15, 2017.

Pat was born May 15, 1935 in Garden, MI the daughter of Howard and Beatrice (Thibault) Pelletier. Pat was born and raised on the Garden Peninsula.  She married Gerald Tatrow in 1951 and together they raised seven children.  After the unexpected death of her husband in 1991, Pat moved to the Gladstone/Escanaba area to make her home with her youngest daughter, who she continued to live with the rest of her life.  She was a homemaker whose days were full and busy with raising children, enjoying time with her grandchildren, knitting and crocheting, sewing, baking and decorating cakes, gardening, playing cards, reading, bird-watching, trips to the casino and working jigsaw puzzles. She had much positive influence on all of her children and grandchildren whom she left with many fond memories of times spent together at “Grandma’s” and who will miss her greatly.

Pat’s family would like to thank all of the caregivers and doctors who have taken care of her, especially the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center in Escanaba who she came to consider as family.  Also, Dr. Randall & Dr. Shaw from OSF and Dr. Napier from UPHS.

My sympathy to each of you on your loss. Patsy was a special lady & I know will be missed by all. Prayers go out to all.

DEAR PAT, SO SORRY WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO VISIT, WILL MISS YOU , LOVE YOU, SYMPATHY TO YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY, BARB AND GARLAND

I am sad to hear of the passing of Pat. I have fond memories of the grandkids and my son Russ running in and out at her house, the craft projects and of course the food everyone loved to eat. She will be missed. My sympathy to all her family.

Our sympathy goes out to the Tatrow family . Patsy was a person who always had time to chat when running into her no matter where we were at and her smile.

To the Pelletier family: I know you will miss her. She left so many wonderful children and grandchildren to share her memory and continue to share the way she valued her family. It seems like just yesterday that we were the children and our parents and grandparents were the “older generation”. Cherish each other while you can, my cousins!

So sorry to hear of Pat’s death. She was a wonderful woman from what John has told me. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her loving family. She will be sorely missed by all. She will walk with Jesus in heaven now free from all suffering.
