Patricia L. Springer, age 67, of Gladstone, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at UP Health Systems in Marquette.
Pat was born December 25, 1949 in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Jack and Dorothy (Raebel) McGuffin. After graduating high school, Pat went to Bay College where she earned her Nursing Degree. She had a passion for nursing and was proud to work hard for her education. She worked at Christian Park Nursing Home, Bishop Noa Nursing Home, Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, and she worked at Bay Health in Bay City. After retirement, Pat continued working in home health care.
Pat loved surrounding herself with family. She lived for her grandchildren. She also valued her friends, especially her best friend from high school, Cathy Loftin. Pat also enjoyed watching Nascar, traveling and seeing different sights and rooting for her Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to her loving husband Bill Springer, Pat is survived by:
1 Son: Robert Livingston, of Merrill, WI
2 Daughters: Melissa Livingston of Gladstone, MI
Julie Springer of Escanaba, MI
7 Grandchildren: Tyler LaFond, Zaine Dowd, Sarah Dowd, Hannah Simmons, Rayne Livingston, Airyn Livingston, and Allie Livingston.
And 1 Great Grandchild: Audrie LaCosse
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and Grandson, Jason Jacob Livingston.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Springer family.
