Nancy M. Herzog

Nancy M. Herzog, age 77, of Rapid
River passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at home with
her family by her side.

Nancy was born on July 5, 1940 in
St. Nicholas, Michigan, the daughter of Edward “Buster”
and Anna Mae (Brousseau) Kossow. She was united in marriage
to Fred Herzog on April 18, 1959 in Perkins, MI.

Nancy worked for many years at Northern Michigan
Veneers in Gladstone. She was very humble and friendly and
had a great sense of humor. Nancy took great pride in her
garden and flowers. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles,
quilting, knitting, and treasure hunting. Nancy could find a
bargain like nobody else. She was best known for her talents
in the kitchen, preparing many tasty treats for her friends
and family. Nancy will be remembered as a loving and devoted
woman who cherished her family as much as they treasured
her.

Nancy is survived by her children,
Fred (Debbie) Herzog of Escanaba and David (Lynn) Herzog of
Rapid River, Donna (Rick) Novak of Escanaba and Ardith
Bourdeau of Escanaba, 11 grandchildren, 18 great
grandchildren; sisters, Lois Bussineau, Linda (Fred)
Britton, Mary Ann Foster, Cindy (Doug) Gawne and Susie
(Frank Malkowicz) Kossow; brothers, Bob and Tom Kossow and
numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her
husband, Fred in 2009, her parents, brothers, Ed, Jack, Pete
and Pat and sisters, Sally Swanson and Beverly
Johnson.

The family will receive friends on
Friday, March 2 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skradski
Funeral Home in Gladstone.
