On Friday, September 7th, 2018 Michelle Lee Mcdonnell of Escanaba, MI, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI from complications of pneumonia at the age of 45 years old.

Michelle was born on September 12, 1972 to Jim and Carol (Vachon) Mcdonnell in Escanaba, MI. Graduate of Escanaba High School, Michelle worked at the Island Resort and Casino for 23 years. She had a love for animals, especially her dog Bubba, and music. She was known for her infectious smile, and kind and compassionate personality.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Jim Mcdonnell. She is survived by her mother Carol (Vachon) Mcdonnell, brother in law and sister Raymond and Christine (Mcdonnell) DePas, nieces Denna DePas and Devon (Tyler) Hanson, and boyfriend Amos Peters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 28 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:00 PM at the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish with Fr. Eric Olson officiating. Michelle will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
