Michael Henry Doneau, age 59, of Bark River passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.

Mike was born May 20, 1959 in Escanaba, the son of Henry and Betty (Demeuse) Doneau. He was united in marriage to Pamela Peterson and worked at EMP as a machinist.

Michael had a great sense of humor and would always leave you smiling. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and working in his garage. He also had a kind heart and affectionately cared for several feral cats.

Mike is survived by his wife, Pam of Bark River; two daughters, Carrie Nackly and Angela LaPalm; two grandchildren, Tyler and Krystyn LaPalm ; one great grandhild, Jackson LaPalm; two brothers, Brian Doneau of Rock and Terry Doneau of Gladstone; three sisters Elizabeth (Wayne) Cooper of Perkins, Donna (David) Larson of Gladstone, Amy (Jeff) Ebbesen of Gladstone and brother in law Tom Trudell of Gladstone. Also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Debbie Trudell.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Doneau family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home.

    Pam….we are so deeply sorry for your loss. I have known Mike since I was a teenager and was always a joy to be around and talk to. He will be so deeply missed by so many. You are in our prayers and thoughts.
