Aunt Marie had such a unique laugh. I remember listening to it as she played cards. May God surround your family with His love. I pray that family members and friends will comfort and strengthen you all.

All us kids were always so excited by the time we reached gramma and grampa’s house that we must driven Marie and Fern crazy but they were such wonderful moms that they pretty much allowed us cousins to spend every waking minute together. They were truly exceptional remarkable ladies and moms.

Marie was a very kind woman, I played with her children throughout my childhood years. What a great family,( remember the baseball games in the backyard) She is with Frank now may God take it from here I am truly saddened for your loss

Aunt Marie was on of kind and really knew the meaning of “being kind” She was a great neighbor and always was concerned about how my wife Sue was and when I would be permently living in Isabella. Will miss sharing a small beer now and with her at the Nahma Inn. We used to kid each other about her age and she would say,”When I can’t remember my birthdate I just ride past our grave stone at the Isabella cemetery” What a fun person .

So enjoyed playing cards with Marie. She would make what I thought were outrages bids and most of the time making it. She was always upbeat and told such fun stories. Such fond memories. She will be sorely missed. God bless to her family!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gouin family. I only met Marie once but it was memorable. Blessings to all at this time of loss.

Marie always had a good word to say to us. “The “Nedeaus” Ivan worked with Frank for his entire life on road construction. All the way back to Titus in Galesburg. So many good memories. Marie was always kind. When we think of Marie, we think Isabella. Love and prayers.

Rest in Peace Marie, know you are with Frank at last. Will miss seeing you on my trips home, especially at the Nahma Labor Day celebrations. I too will always remember your special laugh.

Marie was my 2nd mom growing up, Jannie and I were inseparable. Many wonderful memories of spending time with this family. Gods peace to you all.
    Love

Your mom will be greatly missed. She was such a good sport to dress up for Labor Day floats and Halloween every year. Always smiling and friendly. She always told me I was a nice girl, even if she called me Cindy every once in a while . She was precious.

Our love and prayers to the family of Marie Gouin. Ivan worked with Frank for his entire career on the road. All the way back to Titus Construction Co in Galesburg. She will be missed in Isabella.

Marie always showed her warm and loving heart, whether it was to a young child who stayed in her home, or to an adult friend of her children. She never missed an opportunity to say hello and engage in a conversation that made you feel cared for and appreciated. Marie’s love of her family was always on display. I hope her memory lives on in all of you and brings you peace and comfort.

My sympathies to your family. I met Marie on several occasions when I visited my Grandma & Grandpa, Dale & Lillian, who were neighbors for many years in Isabella. Very sweet lady. Cherish your memories.

Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house was always the place I wanted to be growing up. My fondest memories are of Christmas time with cousins, aunts and uncles. I know I couldn’t be where/who I am today without Grandma’s love and prayers.

In the arms of God you be. No longer weighed down but set free. My prayers for comfort to my extended family..I remember she was such a kind loving spirited person..❤

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We very rarely did not see Marie on our trips back to Nahma either on the beach, at the Inn or at the Labor Day celebration, she was always so happy to see me and even last year when her memory had failed her a bit she called me by name. I know she will be missed by all of you and by so many in the area. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
