Was sorry to hear about Lenny. Our family was very fortunate to have Lenny and his family as our neighbors. Many memories of catching the bus on a cold morning, and talking to his parents while staying warm in the house. Helping with farm chores, and testing out our Christmas presents in the snow. If help was needed, Lenny was always there. He enjoyed listening to my Dad play the accordion. As life would have it, was not able to see him much in our adult life, but I will never forget a great friend and neighbor. My sympathy to his family, and may he rest in the peace of our Lord, Jesus

I was a W/M greeter & worked with Lenny for 15ys. He greeted a while but went on to better things. Lenny loved his apt. It was like having his own place. He was happiest when he did things with his grandkids. He was well known from his gardening, canning & the love he had for his family. He will be missed. I will think of him every time I see the Fried Egg candy at the Amish store.

You have my deepest sympathy. Rest in peace Lenny.

Just a few minutes ago, I was very sorry to hear the sad news about Lenny. While many years have passed since we have been in touch, I still have great memories of working with Lenny at Wisconsin Furniture a/k/a The Custom Shoppe. His warm personality added much to the character of the Custom Shoppe “family”. When the economy turned against us and I had to shut the company down, the task was even more difficult because of the many people like Lenny who worked there. I am glad to hear that his family had many years to enjoy having him around.

So sorry to hear of Lenny’s passing. I grew up in Schaffer and went to school with Lenny right threw to our graduation. We had great fun reminiscing at our 50 year class reunion last September. Lenny, Leon Liss & I use to go biking all over Schaffer together. We put on many miles & had a lot of fun exploring the side roads. Our parents had no idea of what we were up to. Simpilar times but they were the best!
    Our condolences,
    Susan Johnson-Wanic & Larry

Much to early to go my friend. May you now rest in peace. Will truly miss our work chats. Won’t be the same without you in lawn & garden. Till I see you again goodbye.

Please accept my condolences on Lenny’s passing. I had what used to be called a “nodding acquaintance” with him at Wal-Mart. He helped me on many occasions and was very good at customer service. We always greeted one another but never knew each other. I saw him at the store, said hello from a distance, just a few days before his passing. He was with a co-worker and was cheerful that day, as he always was. I am glad for his peace but will miss seeing him at the store. Wishing you all peace as you recover from his passing. – With kindest regards, Randy Roeseler,

My sympathies to Lenny’s family. I worked with him at Custom Shoppe in Watertown and then had the pleasure of running into him often at Walmart. Always nice, always a smile on his face, always ready to stop and say hi. He will be missed. Again, sorry for the loss of a great man.

My deepest sympathies go to Lenny’s family. I worked with Lenny at Walmart for 6 years and enjoyed seeing him after I left. He always had a smile on his face and greeted me each time I saw him. He will be truly missed. We lost a great one with his passing.

A shock to hear of Lenny’s passing. We just had a nice visit. I first met Lenny while working at Custom Shoppe/WI Furniture. He was also a friend of my late husband, Jim. We both enjoyed his humor. Through the years we kept in touch at Walmart. Lenny always spoke highly of family and was excited to tell everyone if he was getting to visit with them. He was so proud of his canning abilities and shared with everyone. Lenny always had a positive attitude and kind to everyone. I will truly miss our visits. I’m sure he is smiling that he is in God’s hands.
