Lawrence Henry Ambeau, age 82, of Wells passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Lawrence was born May 27, 1934 in Escanaba, the son of Joseph and Edna (Leid) Ambeau. He was employed with the State of Michigan for several years until he retired in 1996.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Carol and her son, Ryan (Meredith) Blixt; his son Joseph Ambeau; his daughter, Lauren (Robert) Ball; five grandchildren and his sister, Rose Mary Blake.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
